Armenia CarahungeYEREVAN, ARMENIA—Public Radio of Armenia reviews that 30 beforehand undocumented stones had been found at a prehistoric monument generally known as Carahunge or Zorats Karer throughout a survey performed by researchers from the Byurakan Observatory and the Armenian Nationwide College of Structure and Development. Situated on a mountain plateau in southern Armenia, Carahunge is made up of a minimum of 223 stones marked with holes, burial cists, and standing stones. The researchers measured the stones, scanned them with digital gear, and performed an aerial photo-scan of the realm. The brand new information will now be used for astronomical calculations.
